In honor of Veterans Day, give a personalized thanks to those who have proudly served our country. Dallas stationery store Paper & Chocolate has produced a grand 3,000 patriotic thank you cards for the special day. By signing a note of gratitude, veterans and active duty soldiers in Iraq from Division Troops Battalion, 1CD, based in Fort Hood will receive your note of appreciation. The three cards to choose from are locally designed and free of charge.

“As a grateful citizen who doesn’t know any current active duty servicemen or servicewomen, I felt as though I had no way to communicate my gratitude and respect for their service,” says Vicki Petersen, owner of Paper & Chocolate. “I wanted to do something but didn’t know anything to do but make my contribution to the wonderful organizations that assist and support our military. While important, it didn’t feel personal enough.”

Petersen started the program as a way for others to sincerely thank those that have made sacrifices for our country. Venture into Paper & Chocolate and sign your card today. For more information, click here.
