Prestonwood Polo Club’s Women’s Championship Tournament began with an exquisite red-carpet gala at Prestonwood Country Club. The event, hosted by Ty Treadway, featured a runway fashion show from designer Abi Ferrin’s 2010 collection, Cuban American artist Rolando Diaz, various musical performances, and a barbeque in the club’s pavillion. During the seated dinner, a Veuve Clicquot toast was made to Sunny Hale, the world’s highest-rated female polo player, after an elaborate trophy presentation. Polo players from across the state enjoyed a weekend full of entertaining matches as they came to watch and support the North Texan athletes. See you at the next divot stomping!
