We all know Paris is chock-full of world-renowned landmarks- the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and of course, designer boutiques. The glorious, bountiful, beautiful boutiques. But, alas, it was strictly business during my inaugural visit in July to the city of lights. I was there for one thing and one thing only- Haute Couture Week.

The invitations were delivered to my hotel the night before the shows began, and I sorted the dizzying array of papers, folders, and cardboard into three days. By the time I was done making my schedule, I had allotted a mere six hours before my first show, completely jet-lagged and no outfit picked out for Jean-Paul Gaultier, Zuhair Murad, Georges Chakra and Stephane Rolland.
