The ultimate food fête, this April’s 24th Annual Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival showcased the state’s most delectable spirits and cuisine. The highlight of the weekend took place at Austin’s Long Center, where guests sampled dishes and wines from famed Texas chefs and winemakers during The Stars Across Texas Grand Tasting. Featured during the event were dishes from the state’s most iconic chefs, including Austin’s Jeff Blank of Hudson’s on the Bend, Houston’s Paul Lewis of Cullen’s Upscale American Grille, and San Antonio’s John Brand of Las Canarias Restaurant at La Mansion Del Rio. Gourmet institutions stretching from far west Texas to Houston garnered equal acclaim from festival patrons. A compelling range of delicious options satisfied every discerning palette—no one left hungry!
